Description
Ridgid 345 Screw Type Flaring Tool
The RIDGID? 345 Screw Type Flaring Tool uses a twisting motion to create 45-degree angles on the ends of your tubes. It accepts tubes measuring 3/16 inch to 5/8 inch in diameter. Once you select the size of tube you want to work with, you can secure it in place with a slotted vice grip. This Ridgid flaring tool does not require a hammer. It uses a twisting motion to drive a smooth cone down onto the tube and creates consistent 45-degree angles as it works. This system relies on a clamping screw for two different reasons. It holds your tubes secure while you add pressure and it releases the tubes as soon as the process finishes. This flaring tool works with aluminum, brass, copper and steel materials.
